Every healthy kitchen should have a good set of knives. I love to cook and spend a lot of time making meals, so I wanted a set that would last a long time and look good too.

If you’re looking to upgrade your cutting skills here are some ideas.

Fact: dull knives are more dangerous than sharp ones. A dull knife requires more force to cut, increasing the risk of slipping and injuring yourself.

Keep your knives sharp so they glide through food, minimizing the chance of accidents.

While top-of-the-line knives can be expensive, you don’t need to break the bank.

Focus on building a core set of high-quality knives with full tang construction. This means the blade extends the full length of the handle, making it sturdier and more comfortable to use.

A good-looking knife block like this is a great way to store and organize your growing collection. Here’s what I suggest to get started:
